Gaels Bounced From Playoff By Halton Hills

The Green Gaels were bounced from the OLA Jr B East playoffs tonight with a 9-3 loss to the visting Halton Hills Bulldogs. The Gaels were up 2 games to 1 in this series and ended up blowing the series lead. There youth is probabley to blame for blowing the 2 games to 1 lead they had on the Bulldogs. But you cant take away from Halton Hills there a great team, maybe a little under rated at times. They have the leading scorer of the league in Pat Saunders who had 100+ points aswell as 50+ goals, aswell as guys like Nic Grasby and Kyle Davis. There D and Goaltending led by Mike Cregnan is probabley top 3 in the East. In Closing they do belong in the East Finals although im sure everyone thought it would be the Gaels and Mimico.
